Read MoreYesterday was a mild day with a good cloud cover that offered nice diffused light. Pretty much everybody in this group is proficient with their equipment and have their own specific workflow. With that in mind, I mostly just post my photo to the group and don't give much detail on any of the factors involved with the shot or the processing workflow. Perhaps my best way to express what's going on with this image as well as the tweaks I've been making to my workflow would be better suited to a more detailed post to my photography blog. Image processing workflow is always evolving and everybody has their own style and preferences. By no means am I someone that should be telling other photographers how they should interpret their work by using a specific workflow.
Since I'm writing more in this caption than has been my general style I want to take this opportunity to say a couple of things. One of the things that I wish SmugMug would add to the comment area of images is a more threaded discussion. It would be beneficial in many ways when people ask a question or make a statement that would make for a good discussion. For me, I would like to be able to thank people each time they take the time to leave a comment on one of my images. I never take it for granted and I'm always appreciative. Adding the option of making the comment a threaded discussion could help significantly increase the interactivity on SmugMug and help build more dialog in each community. My voice is very small and for all I know they are working on it or may have decided that for now it's not a feature that they feel is needed. There are plenty of factors that I'm sure they have to consider.
Thanks for allowing me to be part of this community and thanks for the support and encouragement that I receive on the work that I post here.
Peace
