Many thanks to TJ, Chaz, and Lacey for making me feel so welcome and at home at Sweet Ink Tattoo in Montevallo, Alabama. This was my first opportunity to make photographs at a tattoo shop. It was a great experience and I look forward to returning to make more photographs at the shop as well as photographing more of the beauty in Montevallo. Thanks to Cat who was in the process of having an inferior tattoo from another shop rescued and finished beautifully by artist Lacey.

This image was shot at night from a tripod with available light and a long exposure. This window art is a work in progress on the window of the shop and was so awesome that I had to make a photograph. There is a second photograph of another section of this ongoing mural.
